The Smith College tennis team opened their fall season with a tough loss to
Wellesley College, but are looking to rebound this week as they prepare to
take on the Babson Beavers this Saturday. Despite the loss, Smith tennis
displayed a lot of spirit and heart throughout the match, and had a strong
showing from their first-year athletes. After a day off from practice,
players returned to the courts yesterday energized and focused, and eager to
improve their point-building and specialty shots.
