Monday, October 5 was "Mountain Day" at Smith. The bells rang at 7:30am on campus and the team assembled for an early practice and then headed out to spend their day off enjoying each others' company. They headed to the orchard after lunch to pick apples. The apple picking day obviously was the right ingredient for the winning match the next day. On Tuesday, October 6, Smith College tennis defeated Springfield College. The match was a close 6-3 bringing Smith's winning streak to 3 in a row. Go Pioneers!
