Pioneers Post Victory

Along with schedule changes, heavy rain, Yom Kippur and team sickness, Smith Tennis still managed to pull off an  8-1 victory over Emerson College.  "This is the toughest time of the season" commented one team member. "With only two weeks remaining in the season, it is all about time management and trying to stay healthy".  In spite of all set backs and missing four starters, Smith Tennis showed their best "team" effort by pulling together, stepping up to the challenge and securing the win. Congratulations to Katie Herzon, Poorni Arunachalam, Christine Yee, Jimin Lee as well as veteran team members Kelli Cheung, Seema Samawi, Margaret Anne Smith for a well earned victory.

This is single's win number 5 in a row for Margaret Anne Smith as she continues to notch both singles and doubles victories this season.
