NEWITT doubles was the tournament highlight of the fall season but not the end of the Fall Smith College Tennis story. The team convened at Chuck Johnson's home for a special home cooked meal. They shared stories and talked of plans for winter fitness and spring tennis. The team is far from idle during the November and December months. They have been spotted on the indoor court honing their skills and working out in the Olin center. The team is also using their time to give back to others through various forms of community service. (team community service projects will be listed here at a future date)
The end of the semester is almost on us and it will not be long until the team returns to intercollegiate competition for the spring. The spring team schedule is already posted on the SmithPioneer site so check it out. In the meantime, we all wish you a safe and blessed holiday season.
