The dedication of the balcony for the tennis hut will take place at 4pm at the outdoor courts rain or shine. Please invite any and all of your tennis playing friends. Refreshments will be available at the dedication site. In case of rain, the dedication will be held at the outdoor courts and we will move to the indoor facility for the match. The dedication will last about 15-20 minutes. Team introductions will be held after the dedication. The 10 minute warm-up with opponents will begin at 5pm and the match will begin at 5:15pm
The Smith College Tennis Team and coaches, the MHC Tennis Team and coaches, members of the Smith Equestrian Team and coaches (the sister team for tennis), Merrilyn Lewis (Director of Donor Services, Advancement), Deedie Steele, Director of the Summer Tennis at Smith, tennis volunteers, as well as all invited friends of tennis and guests will be in attendance.
